Shiyin is running Marathon for Clean Water in Ethiopia

Dear Friends and families,
This year I have decided to run the Berlin Marathon on Sept 28th to raise money for the clean water supply of Ethiopian women and children.
There are two main reasons I decided to do this:
1. In memory of my beloved friend "Mareike Carriere":
Mareike passed away on Mar 17th 2014 because of cancer. She has been a supporter for Plan International Deutschland e.V. since 2007 (http://www.plan-deutschland.de/news/article/plan-trauert-um-mareike-carriere/). All the funds donated will be under her name. (That's why I chose Plan International to be the beneficiary.)
2. A important person in my life had knee sugery last year and I promised him that after he recovers and runs the Marathon again, I will run it with him.
I would greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Plan International Deutschland e.V. or bringing awareness around my fundraising efforts.
