The Berlin Experience: Helping Kids with Cancer at Marathon #5
I've heard from many people that I'm pretty crazy. I picked up and moved to a different city, in a different country, on a different continent. Then I did it again within a year, only within the borders of Europe. I've experienced overwhelming amounts of excitement and happiness, but also doubt, loneliness, and fear. During all of these moments I've taken these energies and channeled them into my running shoes. As you know one of my many passions in life is running. It awakens me, heals me, and transforms me. With every step and every breath, through every ache and moment of flight, I am challenged both physically and mentally to become better. A better runner, a better friend, a better daughter, sister, teacher--a better person.
Yet I am not the only one pushing myself through transition, change and challenge. Children with cancer are as well. They, too, are challenged both physically and mentally to become better. They, too, are channeling all their energies to transform and heal.
In honor of my
5th (and most challenging) marathon in BERLIN, I would like to raise money for the
Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung, the German Children's Cancer foundation. Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung are doing a wonderful job and the funds we raise will help them perform their work.
Help me run my fastest race to date and qualify for the Boston Marathon while also helping some amazing children along the way!
I would
greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung (German Children's Cancer Foundation) or bringing awareness around my fundraising efforts.
There are no small donations.
Donations are processed through Alvarum.
It is very easy and 100% secure.
Spread the word, spread the love and THANK YOU for your help!
