Cancer - A disease which is taking away more millions of human lives, each year.

Two prime reasons for cancer not getting cured are
a. Delay in diagnosis due to less awareness.
b. Lack of funds to treat it once diagnosed.

12 years back, I lost my elder sister battling and fighting cancer. That was the time, I realized what is feels to lose your loved one because of such a deadly disease. That was the time, I decided to contribute in the fight against cancer.

I have come across lot of organizations, helping and supporting cancer patients, one of them is
Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung (German Children Cancer Foundation). I really think that Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung is doing a great job.

'Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung' helps and supports the families whose children are suffering with cancer. They provide counseling, moral support and also help them tackle financial distress. Furthermore the funds also promote and finance major research projects which aim to improve the chances of recovery.

To raise awareness and funds to help the foundation continue their noble work, I have decided to run the Berlin Marathon 2015. I request you to also contribute in this noble cause, I would greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung or spreading awareness about my fundraising efforts.
