I will run a marathon in Montpellier on 19 October 2014 for the benefit of Handicap International.

Very conscious of how lucky I am to have legs that are strong enough to even consider participating in such an event, I am aware that hundreds of thousands of people around the world have lost their legs or other limbs because they played or worked near a landmine or were caught in the middle of a war.

I would like to help the people who are helping them get the prostheses necessary so that they can walk to school or simply get up and walk around their home.

Please help me support the effort of Handicap International by making a donation.

By donating as little as €33, you can provide a child with a prosthetic limb. My hope is that, with my two legs and your generosity, we will help 30 children and adults get the prosthetic limbs they need. Any small contribution will help reach this goal. I have already donated €100 to the cause myself. Please help me help the other 27 people.

Très conscient de la chance que j'ai d'avoir des jambes suffisamment fortes pour imaginer participer à ce genre d'événement, je suis également conscient du fait que des centaines de milliers de personnes dans le monde aient perdu leurs jambes ou autres membre parce qu'elles ont joué ou travaillé près d'une mine antipersonnelle ou se sont trouvées au milieu d'une guerre.

Je souhaiterais aider les personnes qui aident ces gens à obtenir des prothèses nécessaires pour se rendre à l'école ou simplement se lever de leur lit.

Veuillez avoir la gentillesse d'aider les efforts de Handicap International en faisant un don.

En donnant seulement 33 €, vous pouvez fournir à un enfant une prothèse. Mon espoir est que, avec mes deux jambes et votre générosité, nous aiderons 30 enfants et adultes à obtenir la prothèse dont ils ont besoin. Tout montant donné aiderait à atteindre cet objectif. J'ai déjà donné 100 € moi-même. S'il vous plaît, aidez-moi à aider les 27 autres.
