Im Jahr 2023 brachte die Gründung unseres Teams der Lycée-International-Gemeinschaft, bestehend aus 30 Schülerinnen und Schülern, Eltern und Lehrkräften der Schule von Estelle & Paul, 10.000 € ein und machte uns zum erfolgreichsten schulischen Spendenteam Frankreichs für die europäische Kinderkrebsstiftung Imagine for Margo. *** Video 2023 / 2024: Ziel von 12.000 € erreicht / 2025: über 15.000 € gesammelt mit rund hundert Teilnehmenden.***

Helfen Sie uns, diese Bildungsinitiative mit großem Herzen im Jahr 2026 weiter wachsen zu lassen! Krebs ist die häufigste krankheitsbedingte Todesursache bei Kindern. Für 20 % der betroffenen Kinder und Jugendlichen gibt es keine therapeutischen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten (obwohl in manchen Fällen für Erwachsene mit einer vergleichbaren Krebsart Therapien existieren): Fortschritte in der Forschung sind daher unerlässlich, werden jedoch von staatlicher Seite nicht ausreichend unterstützt. Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2011 hat Imagine for Margo mehr als 20 Millionen Euro für über 50 französische und europäische Forschungsprogramme bereitgestellt, die Fortschritte in der Kinderkrebsforschung beschleunigen. Der jährliche Benefizlauf bzw. Benefizmarsch ist die wichtigste Spendenaktion der Organisation, und 100 % jeder Spende fließen direkt in Forschungsprogramme. Gleichzeitig fördert die Aktion dank Ihrer Unterstützung auch Empathie und Gemeinschaftssinn unter den Schülerinnen und Schülern des Lycée International, die sich für diese Sache engagieren werden. En 2023, la création de notre équipe Communauté du Lycée International avec 30 élèves, parents et enseignants de l'école d'Estelle & Paul a collecté 10.000€, nous rendant leaders scolaires au niveau national en France pour cette association européenne de lutte contre le cancer pédiatrique Imagine for Margo. *** Voir vidéo / 2024: cible de 12000€ atteinte / 2025: 15000+ collectés avec une centaine de participants.***

En ce 15ème anniversaire de l'asso Imagine for Margo, aidez-nous à renouveler de plus belle notre initiative éducative de soutien 2026! Principale cause de décès par maladie chez les enfants, pour 20% des enfants/adolescents atteints il n'existe aucune option thérapeutique (même si dans certains cas de telles options existent pour les adultes atteints d'un cancer équivalent) : les avancées dans la recherche sont essentielles, mais elles ne sont pas suffisamment soutenues par les gouvernements. Depuis sa création en 2011, Imagine for Margo a alloué plus de 20 millions d'euros à plus de 50 programmes de recherche français et européens qui accélèrent la recherche sur le cancer de l'enfant. Sa marche/course annuelle de bienfaisance est leur principal événement de collecte de fonds, et tout don est alloué à 100% aux programmes de recherche, tout en apportant une valeur pédagogique d'empathie aux élèves du Lycée International qui marcheront pour cette cause, également grâce à votre soutien. In 2023, the creation of our Lycée International Community team, bringing together 30 students, parents, and teachers from Estelle & Paul’s school, raised €10,000, making us the top school fundraising team in France for the European pediatric cancer charity Imagine for Margo. *** 2023 video / 2024: €12,000 target achieved / 2025 : €15,000+ raised with around one hundred participants.***

Help us make this big-hearted educational initiative grow in 2026! Cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death among children. For 20% of children and adolescents affected, there are no therapeutic options available (even though, in some cases, treatments do exist for adults with an equivalent type of cancer): advances in research are essential, but they are not sufficiently supported by governments. Since its creation in 2011, Imagine for Margo has allocated more than €20 million to over 50 French and European research programs accelerating progress in childhood cancer research. Its annual charity walk/run is the organization’s main fundraising event, and 100% of every donation goes directly to research programs, while also helping foster empathy and community spirit among the students of the Lycée International who will walk for this cause, thanks in part to your support.
