That time of year has come around again and we are really looking forward to the annual bike ride for Cancer Support France. The 'flat as a pancake' course we set last year came in for a modicum of (in jest) criticism from the riders as they faced yet another climb but 'they ain't seen nothing yet' compared to what our Lot friends have in store for us. Those like me (Paul) who are using a non-electric bike will no doubt notice the slight undulations as we climb out of the Lot valley. But we like a challenge and the event is all for a good cause.

Training for next month's event is in full swing with plenty of hills on the agenda, bearing in mind that this year's event will be the hardest so far (in terms of metres climbed). Got out early today as it will be another hot one!
