On behalf of the Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer (ITCC) Executive Committee, I am delighted to be running the 2016 Children without Cancer Race in support of Imagine for Margo.
As a direct result of the amazing fund-rasing efforts of Imagine for Margo, we are now conducting European clinical trials of innovative treatments for children with cancer.
Imagine for Margo is funding the BEACON trial; bringing new treatments to children with relapsed neuroblastoma, the BIOMEDE trial bringing new treatments to children with a very difficult to treat brain tumour; diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) and the exciting E-SMART trial which, in a single trial, will bring multiple new targeted anti-cancer drugs to children with different types of cancers, matching the drugs to the specific targets that characterise the individual child's cancer. This year, we hope there will be funds to launch a new trial; PARC, which will test a completely new treatment approach using a drug called BCT-100, which works to starve cancer cells of an essential nutrient causing cancer cells to die.
We believe these clincial trials will improve the treatment of children with cancer and they have been made possible by the money raised by Imagine for Margo. I would therefore greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Imagine for Margo.

L'association Imagine for Margo - reconnue d'utilité publique - mobilise les acteurs clés de la santé et collecte des dons afin d'accélérer la recherche européenne contre le cancer des enfants. L'association mène également des actions pour sensibiliser à la cause, améliorer le bien-être des enfants malades et soutenir leurs familles. Depuis sa création en 2011, Imagine for Margo est devenue un acteur majeur de l’oncologie pédiatrique à l’échelle nationale et un acteur influent en Europe.
