I am very proud of Mama Cash! Because we are energetic and powerful, because we take risks, because we have guts, but more importantly.... because we find and support women's organisations that put themselves on the line to defend human rights. These women and girls who strive against poverty, violence and discrimination are today's true heroines. For these women I will take my sneakers out of the closet and use all my power to run 6 k on July 10th.

Ik ben trots op Mama Cash! Omdat we energiek en krachtig zijn, omdat we risico's nemen, lef hebben, maar nog belangrijker...omdat we vrouwenorganisaties vinden en steunen die hun leven op het spel zetten om mensenrechten te verdedigen. Deze vrouwen en meiden, die tegen armoede, geweld en discriminatie strijden, zijn de echte Heldinnen. Voor deze vrouwen haal ik met liefde mijn hardloopschoenen uit de kast en gebruikt ik al mijn power om op 10 juli 6 kilometer te rennen.
Hopelijk deel jij mijn passie voor vrouwenrechten en sponsor je mijn race ...of probeer me in te halen als 'collega renner' voor Mama Cash! Tot ziens in het Amsterdamse Bos!
