Dear All,
THis year I am planning to run the Paris Marathon 2011 and raise money for the Mécénat of Chirurgie Cardiaque (CARDIAC SURGERY for children)- I have been training for a few months now and I am really excited about this new challenge.
They are thousands throughout the world suffering from serious cardiac malformations. Whatever their origins, infectious or congenital, these diseases generate serious disabilities and can lead to death. Very often only a surgical treatment can save these children.
In France, the team of Mecenat Chirurgie Cardiaque Enfants du Monde concentrates all its efforts to find all the generous wills for bringing life to these children. Professor Francine Leca, previously Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery Hospital Necker and Patrice Roynette, have initiated this exceptional chain of solidarity, efficiency and devotion. Their aim is to save more and more children all over the world.

Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque
Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque permet à des enfants atteints de malformations cardiaques et venant de pays défavorisés de se faire opérer en France lorsque cela est impossible dans leurs pays, faute de moyens techniques et/ou financiers. Ces enfants sont pris en charge uniquement grâce à des fonds privés. Depuis la création de l'Association en 1996 par le Professeur Francine Leca et Patrice Roynette, plus de 2200 enfants ont déjà été pris en charge dans onze hôpitaux de France.
