Cancer Support France are doing a great job in supporting their cancer patients and I have decided to raise funds this summer, to help them perform their work.
This is going to be a challenge for me, at 57, as apart from running 5k for Cancer Charities in the UK, some years back when I was much fitter and thinner, this is the first time I have attempted this sort of long distance cycling challenge. I am not a seasoned cyclist, nor am I an athlete, I am a mum, and a grandmother, but I do have very good motivation for doing this, having lost close family members and friends to cancer and also others who have faced this illness and survived it. I enjoy riding my bike around the area in which I live in the Northern Dordogne, and have been trying to improve my stamina and fitness since early 2017 to help me with this cycle challenge...it's going to be a journey, in more ways than one!!!
I would greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Cancer Support France, or bringing awareness around my fundraising efforts.
