Liebe Freunde,
im November habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, mich meinem ersten Halbmarathon im März 2014 zu stellen. Da ich mal wieder zu lange gewartet habe, verpasste ich die offizielle Anmeldefrist. Glücklicherweise habe ich die Möglichkeit bekommen, für die von mir ausgewählte Hilfsorganisation „Imagine for Margo - Children without cancer“ an den Start zu gehen. Der Startplatz wird mir zugesichert, sobald ich es geschafft habe, €400 für die Organisation aufzutreiben (meine Deadline 12.02.2014)!
Das ganze hat eigentlich nur positive Seiten:
1. Ich spende natürlich selber!
2. Ich tue Gutes, was ich sonst in dieser Form nicht getan hätte!
3. Zu guter Letzt darf ich im März meinen ersten Halbmarathon laufen - gesetzt den Fall, ich erreiche den Spendenbetrag von €400 (gerne auch mehr!).

„Imagine for Margo - Children without cancer“ ist eine französische Kinderkrebs-Hilfsorganisation! Sie setzt sich insbesondere dafür ein, europäische Forschungseinrichtungen bei der Entwicklung innovativer und effektiver Behandlungsmethoden sowie betroffene Familien zu unterstützen. Dear friends,
in November I decided to run my first Semi-Marathon in March 2014. As always I waited too long so unfortunately I missed the deadline to subscribe. Luckily I have the chance to run for a charity association. I have chosen the association myself and it is called „Imagine for Margo - Children without cancer“. In case I am able to contribute €400 towards the fund they will assure me of a starting number for the Semi-Marathon de Paris (my Deadline 12.02.2014)! In general it has only positive effects:
1. I certainly donate money myself!
2. I return something to people that are not as lucky in life as I am!
3. Last but not least, in case I reach the threshold of €400 (the more the better) I will run my first Semi-Marathon.
