Push me to run a marathon for a humanitarian cause 🏃♂️❤️ A little over a year ago, while Anissa was pregnant with our Magda, I discovered running. What started as a personal promise to Magda quickly became a passion, bringing me joy ans freedom, while hoping to show Magda, as she grows, how much we can achieve when we challenge ourselves. In April 2027, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet; running my first Marathon in Paris. I have decided to do this in support of Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World). Most of you know how much of my life I have dedicated to defending human rights in the MENA region. Over the years, I have seen how wars, displacement, and humanitarian crises devastate people’s lives, leaving millions struggling to access even the most basic necessities. This is why I chose to run for Médecins du Monde. Its humanitarian work in the region, particularly in places affected by conflict and displacement, helps provide essential humanitarian care to people who need it most. My goal is to raise €500 to support Médecins du Monde’s humanitarian work, and I would love for you to be part of this adventure. I’ll run the 42.195 kilometres, but I need your help to make them count. Every euro you donate can help Médecins du Monde reach people who urgently need care. Families forced to flee their homes, children in need of medical attention, injured civilians, and people whose access to healthcare has been destroyed by war. They are the people I hope we can help through this small collective effort. And if you can’t donate, please share this page. That too can make a difference. For friends donating from France: A €50 donation may qualify for a 75% income-tax reduction, meaning it could cost you just €12.50 after tax relief, while the full €50 goes to Médecins du Monde Thank you, friends! ❤️ Donations are processed through Alvarum. It is very easy and 100% secure. Thank you for your help! Ziad Abdeltawab
