Hello! My name is Sarah, and I'm running my debut marathon in Paris 2027! I am running to support Médecins Sans Frontières, also known in the US as Doctors Without Borders, a humanitarian organization that provides medical care to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters and social exclusion. The organization does work in more than 70 countries to provide necessary medical support to people that would otherwise be at-risk in their homes. MSF has medical personnel working to help those caught in the midst of major global crises -- from war zones in the Middle East to the Ebola outbreak in Africa. I have been running for over 12 years and want to take on my next milestone in the sport while supporting a charity I believe in. After working in healthcare for 5 years and traveling the world for the past 9 months, I can see that there is so much that can be done by providing medical support to communities that would otherwise be caught in unnecessary suffering. I'm hoping to raise as much money over the next 6 months as possible to support this organization and would greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Médecins Sans Frontières or bringing awareness around my fundraising efforts.
