Hiya, I'm Richard, and welcome to my fundraising page! That's me and my cousin Donna in the photo, just after we ticked something off our bucket list; running The Big Half in London. It was such an amazing day, and I've well and truly caught the running bug. So despite the pain. agony, and gruelling training schedule, I've signed up for another half marathon, and this time it's in Paris! I've been lucky enough to experience some incredible moments in life, memories I'll treasure forever. Sadly, not everyone gets that chance, including children who are facing critical illnesses. That's why I'm participating in the Paris 2027 Half Marathon for ' Make-A-Wish' , a global charity that grants life-changing wishes to children living with critical illnesses. Whether it's meeting a hero, going on a dream trip or becoming something they've always imagined, a wish gives these children and their families joy, hope and a break from hospital appointments and treatment. These are moments they'll remember forever. I'm aiming to raise at least £250 , and every pound you donate brings another child closer to their wish. Whether it's big or small, thank you so much for your support. It'll keep me going through every mile (and kilometre!). Merci beaucoup! (Thank you very much!)
