Solo half marathon for SOSCO

SOS Chrétiens d'Orient 's (SOSCO) work is truly remarkable: this association provides aid to Christians in the Middle East,Armenia,Ethiopia and Pakistan to help them live with dignity and in peace in their respective countries.Since mid-March,the association has also sent a team to provide food and relief to Ukrainian refugees. Here are some of SOSCO's other current projects: - support for Lebanese schools affected by the economic crisis to provide children with education (the drop-out rate in Lebanon is particularly worrying) - reconstruction of the church and the Christian quarter in Mosul, Iraq (project led by Mgr Najeeb, Chaldean Archbishop of Mosul) - construction of mechanical workshops in Aleppo, Syria, to enable fathers to set up a professional activity - purchase & installation of a high-performance scanner at the Franco-Armenian Cardiology Centre in Goris, Armenia (near Nagorno-Karabakh) On Sat April 16, I aim to run another solo half marathon and hope to raise much-needed funds for SOSCO's operations https://www.soschretiensdorient.fr/index.php/en/ .I invite you to donate whatever you can - even just 20 Eur can help change our fellow Christians' daily lives.
