I’m participating in the Paris Marathon for Doctors Without Borders because I want to turn something incredibly challenging into an opportunity to help others. Their commitment to providing lifesaving medical care to people in crisis, regardless of who they are or where they come from, is deeply inspiring to me. As a mother, I’m especially moved by the idea of supporting families and communities facing circumstances they never chose. The marathon will push me physically and mentally, but knowing that every mile can help support this important work gives the challenge a much greater purpose. I’m proud to run for something bigger than myself and hope to use this experience to raise awareness and meaningful support for Doctors Without Borders.
