Don't be deceived!!! This picture of me from last year's CSF 'Activity for Life' ride makes me look like a cyclist but, as we all know, never judge a book by its cover!! As anyone who saw me over those 4 days in 2021 will attest, my pedal power was sadly lacking on occasions although it has to be said that the squeak on my bike was always present. And yet, here I am embarking on the event for a second year - why you may ask? Well, I'm never one to shy away from a challenge plus I found the experience and camaraderie last year so energising but, primarily, it's because CSF does such a lot of wonderful work to help those affected by this dreadful disease. So, my bike is down from the attic, my kit is found and my training has begun! Less than 3 weeks to go and I've only been out once but my mantra is always 'It'll be fine'!!
