On 4th April, I’m running the Paris Marathon to raise [target] for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), the medical charity founded in Paris in 1971. MSF provides emergency medical care in more than 70 countries, including Sudan, Yemen and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In Palestine, where it has worked since 1988, more than 1,480 MSF staff keep Gaza’s hospitals and clinics running despite a devastated health system and severe shortages of supplies. MSF is neutral and independent. It takes no side in any conflict, follows no political or religious agenda, and is funded almost entirely by private donations, so no government decides who it helps. It treats people based on need alone. Every donation, however small, helps fund doctors, medicines and care for people with nowhere else to turn. If you can’t donate, sharing this page helps just as much. Thank you!
