Family and friends! On April 4, 2027, I will be running the Paris Marathon! I am so excited to run back in the city where I lived many years ago and learned to appreciate all things French. (The best city in the world to carbo-load with baguettes and croissants!) I will be running with my old roommate, Lucy, who lives in London now. We can't wait for a reunion in Paris! I will be fundraising for the Special Olympics France team. Special Olympics serves athletes with intellectual disabilities and provides an event every four years for all to participate in. Special Olympics France provides year round sports trainig for Olympic-type sports including skiing, baseball, bowling, running, sailing, volleyball, and swimming. Special Olympics France most recently sent 65 athletes and partners to the 2023 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Berlin, Germany. I really think that Special Olympics France are doing a great job and I have decided to raise funds to help them perform their work. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Special Olympics France or bringing awareness around my fundraising efforts.
