I’m running the Paris Marathon to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), whose teams are providing vital medical care to Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. In Gaza, MSF is delivering emergency and surgical care, maternity and neonatal services, primary healthcare, malnutrition treatment, mental-health support, rehabilitation, and clean water. Over the past year, its teams have carried out hundreds of thousands of medical consultations, treated tens of thousands of trauma patients, performed thousands of surgeries and deliveries, and provided millions of litres of drinking water. In the West Bank, MSF is also providing mobile primary healthcare, reproductive health services, treatment for chronic illnesses, and mental-health support to communities affected by violence, displacement and movement restrictions. I work on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict 24/7, primarily around peacebuilding and finding a way to end this horrific conflict that has claimed far too many lives. Both Palestinian and Israeli. Every day we fail to reach that goal, is a day that millions of people spend without access to basic services that you and I take for granted. MSF’s medical teams are doing profoundly important work in extraordinarily difficult circumstances. I want to run this race to support them, while working simultaneously-- in my day job-- to ultimately make their efforts in Israel-Palestine unnecessary. Any contribution, large or small, will help support this essential work. Thank you. Donations are processed through Alvarum. It is very easy and 100% secure. Thank you for your help, and for supporting those John Lyndon
