Solidarity Project: Lycée Inter Team USA for Pediatric Cancer On Sunday September 29th Lycée International students, families and staff across all sections will join forces for Imagine for Margo - a leading pediatric cancer association created by an American Section parent 12 years ago. If the team spirit of inter-section solidarity , community service , and just plain fun interests you, please join us! Knowing around 1 child in every 15 classrooms is diagnosed with cancer and 1 of 5 have no cure , the Lycée International community fundraised over 10,000 euros for the association's annual race in 2023, placing us as school leaders nationally. This year a larger inter-section gathering will undertake the 5km walk/run with a 12,000 euros target, mindful that 100% of proceeds are directly donated to research for medicines adapted to youth, who often benefit from fewer therapeutic options than adult patients. In 2024 Imagine for Margo was the sole pediatric cancer association represented at the annual American oncology conference (ASCO), and your family's invaluable donation which will also finance students of our Team USA.
