Every child deserves to leave practice feeling stronger, more confident, and safe. As someone who grew up playing volleyball, golf, swimming, and track and field—and later became a girls’ and boys’ volleyball coach and girls’ golf coach—I know how much sports can shape a young person’s life. I also know that when a child joins our team, we’re being trusted with far more than their athletic development. We’re responsible for creating an environment where they feel respected, supported, and protected. That’s why I’m taking on the 2027 Paris Marathon in support of REBOND, a French association working to prevent violence and abuse against children in sports. REBOND turns that mission into action through education, awareness, and training, helping coaches, families, and sports organizations build safer environments for young athletes. Your donation helps support that work. This cause connects two meaningful parts of my life: sports and my connection to France. I’ve studied French since I was 13 and majored in it at UC Berkeley. Now, I have the opportunity to bring those passions together for something that matters deeply to me. In August 2026, I completed my first marathon in Mexico City. For my next 26.2 miles in Paris, I want to carry this commitment with me: children deserve the chance to discover what they’re capable of, with adults they can trust. Beyond training, I plan to bring my community into this effort through donation-based Pilates classes and youth volleyball clinics. Movement has given me so much, and I want to use it to give back. Will you help me reach my fundraising goal? Please give an amount that feels right for you. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this page can help me reach someone who can. Thank you for supporting me and for helping protect the young athletes who deserve to love their sport and feel safe playing it. With gratitude, Isabella
