As someone who has had and currently has a loved one battling cancer I have decided to raise funds for “La Ligue Contre le Cancer” by running the Paris Marathon on the 4th April 2027. A cancer diagnosis affects not only the patient but also their family and loved ones. It brings both physical and mental challenges, and until you experience it yourself or see someone you love go through it, it is difficult to truly understand the hardships involved.
