Running the 2027 Paris Marathon for MSF I am running the 2027 Paris Marathon to raise critical funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders. Watching the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the devastating impact on civilians has been heartbreaking. Countless displaced families are in desperate need of emergency medical care, shelter, and basic survival necessities. MSF teams are actively working on the ground in incredibly dangerous conditions, providing life-saving surgeries and supporting those who have lost absolutely everything. More than 70,000 people have lost their lives during the conflict, including 15 MSF staff. To participate, the race operators require runners to meet a mandatory minimum fundraising target of €420 by 25 March 2027 to secure my place. Given the immense scale of this crisis, my personal goal is to push beyond that baseline, and raise as much as possible to support MSF’s medical teams, but that amount is my first target.
