On 7 March 2027, I will run the HOKA Semi de Paris to raise funds for Le Laboratoire de répit and its project, Les Bobos à la ferme. Les Bobos à la ferme was started by two parents whose daughter, Andréa, faced a serious illness from a very young age. When they could find nowhere able to welcome her, they built a place themselves: accessible holiday cottages on the Côte d’Opale in northern France. Today it offers respite breaks to family carers and the people they look after, children and adults, whatever the illness or disability. While a professional team cares for their child, parents can rest, spend time together and enjoy a holiday like any other family. I really think Le Laboratoire de répit is doing a great job.
