I’m raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), an organisation providing vital medical care to people affected by conflict, natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies around the world. Working as a doctor in the NHS, I see firsthand the difference that access to healthcare can make. Although our healthcare system is far from perfect, we’re still fortunate to have access to quality healthcare, free at the point of need. It’s something we can easily take for granted, but something that millions of people around the world simply don’t have. MSF does incredible work bringing healthcare to those who need it most, often in some of the most challenging circumstances imaginable.
