In March 2027, I’ll be running the HOKA Semi de Paris in support of CAMI Sport & Cancer, with a goal of raising €2,000 for their work supporting people affected by cancer through therapeutic physical activity. Movement has always meant far more to me than exercise. It’s given me confidence, connection, purpose, and a deeper appreciation for what our bodies are capable of. But recently, I came to understand the power of movement in an entirely different way. I was introduced to stories of cancer survivors who began running and exercising while undergoing chemotherapy and treatment after receiving devastating diagnoses. They have described movement as something that helped save their lives, and their stories have completely changed the way I think about the relationship between movement, resilience, and healing. This is one of the reasons I felt so drawn to CAMI. CAMI Sport & Cancer is a French nonprofit that integrates therapeutic physical activity into cancer care. Their programs help people affected by cancer stay active during and after treatment, with specialized support designed around each patient’s health and needs. Their work uses movement to help patients manage the effects of treatment, regain strength, improve quality of life, and reconnect with their bodies during an incredibly difficult time. That mission means so much to me because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience what movement can give us, especially when their body is carrying them through something unimaginably hard. So when I run 13.1 miles through Paris, I’ll be running for more than a finish line. My goal is to raise €2,000 for CAMI Sport & Cancer , and I would be incredibly grateful for any contribution toward it. Whether you donate, share this page, or simply follow along, thank you for being part of this with me. Every donation helps CAMI continue giving people affected by cancer access to the support, strength, and possibility that movement can provide. Let’s get to €2,000. ❤️
