Hello everyone, That's it, I have decided to finally tackle The Beast! After many half marathons over the years, I will be running the 50th Paris Marathon on 4th April 2027. I will run this race in memory of the Chairman of the orchestra I have worked for for the past 16 years, who tragically and suddenly died of pancreatic cancer in June 2026. He was a very dear friend and someone I admired a lot and I would like to honour his memory by running this incredible race in my hometown. It was really important for me to fundraise for my very first marathon and I chose Fondation ARCAD, which specifically supports research in and care of digestive cancers in France. I need to raise a minimum of €420 in order to get a place in the race and would be really grateful for any help you can provide. There are no small donations. Donations are processed through Alvarum.
