This will be my 8th year participating in the Imagine for Margo race in St Cloud in memory of my son Robbie, who died of Wilms Tumor in 2011 at 5 years old. This year I am honored to be joined not only by my eldest daughter Melanie, 15, but my younger daughter Jessica, who will have just turned 9. And, of course, our faithful cockapoo Raffi. There are amazing advances happening in cancer research, but too little of it is dedicated to young patients even as pediatric cancer remains a leading cause of non-accidental deaths for chiildren in both France and the United States. Imagine for Margo is an all-volunteer organization, so all funds raised will directly support clinical trials for pediatric cancer in Europe.
