Andrew's Paris Marathon for mental health

Andrew Mattock — FONDATION FALRET

I'm running the Paris Marathon on April 4, 2027 to raise money for Fondation Falret, a French charity that supports people living with mental health conditions. I'll personally match your donations euro for euro, up to €500 in total matching funds. While matching funds remain, your donation will be doubled: €10 from you means €20 for Fondation Falret. Mental health is a cause close to my heart. I believe people should be able to find compassionate support when they need it, and that talking openly about mental health can help reduce the stigma around asking for help. I chose Fondation Falret because of the practical support it provides for people living with mental health conditions. Its work includes supported housing, help finding or staying in work, and peer groups where people can connect and feel less isolated. I'm especially drawn to its support for families. Through Les Funambules, Falret helps young people under 30 whose parent or sibling has a mental health condition. It gives them space to understand what they're experiencing, talk about their feelings and find support for themselves. That recognition of how mental health affects the people around someone matters a lot to me. Running has become an important part of my life. I'd love to use this challenge to bring friends, family and colleagues together to support Fondation Falret's work. My goal is to raise €500. If you're able to donate, any amount would mean a lot to me. Sharing this page would also help me reach more people. I'll share updates as I train for Paris. Thank you for supporting me and a cause I care about. Andrew
