My first marathon. I am not a real runner. In April I’m hoping to complete 42km around Paris for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). This is my first marathon & I'm pretty scared!! Our kids are so lucky. They get their vaccinations, clean water and enough to eat, and we barely think about it. Millions of children don’t and for many families they were just like us until a disaster struck - war, an earthquake or a flood can take an ordinary family to disaster overnight. MSF go in when that happens, often in the first days when parents are at their most frightened. They vaccinate, treat malnourished children, and get clean water and medical care to people who’ve lost everything. It could be any of us, and I’m glad to know that they are there.
