Since I started running in 2017, Ronald McDonald House has been part of my journey. Over the years, I’ve trained and fundraised with the Ronald McDonald House Global team, prepared dinners at local Houses, served on fundraising committees, and most importantly, spent time alongside families staying at these Houses while their children receive medical treatment. I’ve seen what it means for a family to have a place to stay close to the hospital. It is a place to rest, share a meal, find community, and be together during some of the most difficult days of their lives. When a child is seriously ill, families shouldn’t have to worry about where they’ll sleep, how they’ll afford to stay nearby, or how they’ll manage the everyday necessities while navigating the unimaginable. They deserve the opportunity to focus on what matters most: being there for their child. That’s why I’m running the Paris Marathon to fundraise for Maison Ronald McDonald France . Every mile I run represents something bigger than a finish line. It represents the families who need support, the children fighting their own battles, and the communities that come together to remind them they are not alone. I’ve spent years showing up for this mission, and I’m asking you to show up with me. Please consider making a donation. No contribution is too small. Every donation helps support the work of Ronald McDonald House and the families who depend on these spaces when life takes an unexpected turn. You don’t have to run 26.2 miles to make a difference. You just have to care enough to take one small action. If you’ve ever wondered whether your donation matters, I hope you’ll remember this: behind every family staying at a Ronald McDonald House is a child receiving treatment and loved ones who want nothing more than to be by their side. Help me make every mile count in Paris. Thank you for being part of this journey and helping me support families when they need it most. This isn’t a cause I support only when I’m training for a race. It’s a mission I’ve continued to show up for year after year, and one I’ll keep supporting long after I cross the finish line in Paris. Donations are processed through Alvarum. It is very easy and 100% secure. Thank you for your help! Abigail
