Running 42.195 kilometers is a challenge I have faced five times before, but this marathon hits differently. This time, I am preparing to take the ASICS Marathon de Paris 2027 , every step carries a deep purpose: to save a child's life. I am proud to raise funds for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque , an incredible organization that helps children with severe heart defects receive life-saving surgery. In my professional life at Bank Syariah Indonesia , my daily work is rooted in Maqasid Al-Sharia , specifically the preservation of life (Hifz an-Nafs) and societal well-being (Maslahah) . For me, this marathon and charity are an extension of those values, balancing both body and soul (jasmani rohani) . Running trains physical strength, while sharing nurtures the depth of the heart. It is an effort to bring goodness to others in the world, while building eternal rewards for the hereafter (dunia akhirah) . Behind this mission lies a deeply personal inspiration: my 15-year-old son, Salvino , who dreams of becoming a doctor. As a mother, his dream reminds me that every child deserves the chance to grow, dream, and build a future. Rather than waiting until Salvino becomes a doctor, I want to start today by helping children receive life-saving surgery and giving them the opportunity to pursue their own dreams. While my son dreams of saving lives one day, I want to help save lives today. I cannot cross this finish line alone.
