Notre entreprise, TORNIER, est spécialisée dans le domaine du médical - elle fabrique des prothèses articulaires (hanche, genou, epaule etc...).
Déjà soucieux du bien-être des patients de part notre métier, nous avons aussi été sensibilisés par le séjour de plusieurs enfants du personnel TORNIER dans le nouvel hôpital couple-enfant de Grenoble.
C'est pourquoi nous avons décidé par cette action de collecter des fonds afin d'améliorer le quotidien des enfants malades de l'hôpital de Grenoble http://www.chu-grenoble.fr/.
Le projet qui nous a été proposé est de participer, par l'intermédiaire de l'association Les Blouses Roses, à la décoration du service Pédiatrie, pour poursuivre les fresques déjà réalisées à certains étages par l'artiste Rosamée de Mauroy (http://rorybook.com/).

Tornier Team to run in the New York Marathon in aid of the Grenoble hospital for "sick children"
RUN yes but....
For whom!? Why!? :
Our company, TORNIER, specializes in the medical field - we make artificial joints (hips, knees, shoulders, etc.).
While the well-being of patients is already implied in our jobs, we have also been made more keenly aware of this as several children of TORNIER staff have recently been patients at the new parent-child unit in Grenoble, http://www.chu-grenoble.fr/
This is why we have decided to raise money to improve the everyday life of the children in the Hospital.
The project that we are raising awareness and funds for is the decoration of the Pediatric ward in association with a local charity “Les Blouses Roses” (the Pink Coats)”. We would like to contribute to the painting of additional murals (frescoes) within the hospital, continuing the work already completed there by the artist Rosamée of Mauroy (http: // rorybook.com/).
