Dear friends,
The aim of this project is to raise funds for our partner, Morija (www.morija.org), an international co-operation organization based in Switzerland and France, which is developing several projects in Africa (Burkina Faso, Togo, Chad and Cameroon) in order to improve the sanitation system in this region.
Pentair is Morija's partner for a while already, supporting them via various charity projects. Last year we have collected almost 40'000 dollars that were used to drill 5 wells in Burkina Faso for Morija's WASH program. Those wells, together with other projects, such as the construction of latrines and the education of hygiene's best practices will impact more than 3000 persons!
In 2014 we would like to do better. This run is our first project this year and, apart being a charity project, is also a team-builing activity which will assemble Pentair collegues, their families and friends and also all persons that would like to help us. Together we can achieve more!
