Our first race without Melanie! Or rather, our first race without chauffeuring Melanie and her friends to the starting line only to be swiftly left in their dust. Slower but steadfast, Jessica and Raffi and I will carry on our family's commitment to raising funds for pediatric cancer research while Mel pursues her ambitions outre-mer. This year marks the 15th anniversary of Robbie's death. Looking at my two teenage daughters, clearly a lot has happened in our family since then! Yet it never feels far away. It also feels like nearly every year brings fresh news of someone we care for--a colleague, a friend, a relative, a fellow American Section parent-- whose life has just been upended by a cancer diagnosis. Inspired by their continued courage as by Robbie's remarkable spirit all those years ago, we ask again for your support. Donations are processed through Alvarum. It is very easy and secure.
