Cycle for Life 2020

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Cycle for Life due to take place between the 3rd and 7th June has been POSTPONED..............BUT.........

DO COME and join Cancer Support France between 23rd and 26th September.   In this 6th year, the route has moved away from the south and cyclists will be following La Flow Vélo across the pretty Charente region.  Starting on Wednesday lunchtime with a send off by CSF members at Rochefort, known for its 17th century maritime arsenal, cyclists will be enjoying a leisurely ride stopping at Saint-Savinien, Cognac and arriving at Angoulême on Friday evening.   On Saturday morning there will be an organised ride around the area of around 20kms ending with a WELCOME buffet with CSF members.   Have a look at our dedicated website at  https://csfcycleforlife.org/ which will be updated regularly with more news.

This is the only fundraising event for Cancer Support France National.  As well as general help, CSF National funds the website and forum and email and telephone helplines, to name a few.  Most importantly, it organises the training of our Active Listeners (who provide emotional, language and practical support to patients, their families and carers through 17 local associations) and an annual Trainers' Conference.

If you are unable to participate then do sponsor a cyclist or make a donation.  This will ensure that CSF can continue to provide free, confidential support to all anglophones living in France and touched by cancer.
