The Brain Technology Institute (BTI) was founded in 2012 by a team of international renowned neurosurgeons. Through this Institute the life saving Elana Surgical Kit is made available to patients with an aneurysm or tumor in the brains for whom there is no alternative treatment. The institute aims to intensify joint research activities of top neurovascular centers worldwide, to bring forward new clinical treatments preventing stroke which is one of the leading causes of death and disability.
