Pixium Vision 's mission is to create a world of bionic vision for those who have lost their sight, enabling them to regain partial visual perception and greater autonomy. Advances in neuro-ophthalmology, innovations in biomedical and bioelectronic medical technologies, smart algorithms along with miniaturization of microelectronics,  have enabled less invasive retinal surgeries, like the innovative new generation PRIMA, a bionic vision system, with a miniaturized wireless sub-retinal photovoltaic implant, which enables minimally invasive surgery.
