On December 4th, I will be running 10km in the Angkor Wat Half Marathon. I am running this race on behalf of the children and families of Phare Ponleu Selpak. Please help support me, my race, and this inspiring organization.
All of the money we raise will benefit the children in the Child Protection Program.
Cambodia has come a long way since the war torn decades of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. But today in Battambang, children still face domestic violence, trafficking, and can end up addicted to drugs, dropping out of school, or migrating illegally to Thailand where they have no rights and face exploitation and abuse.
Phare Ponleu Selpak is directly working to combat these programs through the combination of our artistic vocational trainings, and our impactful Child Protection Program.
This integral program supports our students, providing them with first aid, free lunch, school supplies, monetary stipends, and counseling and other support that they need to stay in school and complete their studies.
I have seen the impact of this program with my own eyes, and spoken to the children in the program. Your money will no go to waste!
Please donate to this cause. Every little bit helps, and will be appreciated by the children in the Child Protection Program.
Thank you for your kind support.
