Dear Friends and Family, As most of you know I have a passion for running. I have been lucky enough to be able to utilize this passion as part of my career. I have been coaching children in this sport for many years educationg them on the benefits of a lifetime of this sport. Recently I have had the oppurtunity to start raising funds through this love of running for great causes. I was honored to be able to raise money for "Children with Cancer UK" and run London Marathon. Today I have been offered another amazing oppurtunity with the help of my training partner to raise money for the Syrian refugees .  Living in Luxembourg feeling so close to a horrible situation I have felt helpless.  A few weeks ago I was at Sunday Mass with my son and he asked me if I have helped the church with their efforts to help the refugees and sadly  said I tried but it seemed that I was lacking what was needed to help which is the ability to speak other languages.  I felt so bad once again knowing this situation seemed so close and I could not do anything to help.  When the oppurtunity was presented to me that I can actually help through my passion in life that is "RUNNING" I grabbed it and cheered for joy that I can now tell my son "YES" I am helping with the refugee situation and it is a double blessing because I get to do what I love  RUNNING A MARATHON .  BONUS ITS IN BERLIN!  A privilege that I will treasure.  World Vision Germany is helping so many familes and I am so excited to finally be able to say YES to my son" I am helping"! I really think that World Vision Germany is doing a great job and I have decided to raise funds to help them perform their work.
