Cancer touches us all. If not in our very own flesh, in the lives of our family, our loved ones, our friends. We all know a cancer survivor, a loved one fighting, another who went way too early.
A lung cancer took my father at age 57, the disease is still threatening many more of my beautiful friends who get up every day with one desire, to fight for life.
I would like to encourage all my friends and support the
Curie Institute Research Center by participating in a race,
La Course des Lumières*, which will take place in Paris on November 26. Participants will start from the Eiffel Tower, and will be carrying luminous bracelets as a symbol of the light that research brings into the darkness.
I need your support! By raising a minimum of 200 euros (220 USD), I will be able to participate and take this opportunity to pay a special tribute to all of you who donate, scroll down to see how!
Please consider making a donation, no matter how small, every euro, dollar, pound, peso counts!
*During the race, I will pay homage to all our loved ones touched by cancer, please send me a digital photo by email or through facebook, I will print it out and wear it around my neck.
With all my love,
Marie
