I have decided to ride this Fund Raising event this year and will be doing the 3 days from Beziers to Perpignan. If, as I am sure you know, you are ill in France and you are not fluent in French, it can be quite worrying as you try and understand what the specialists are saying unless you manage to have one who is fluent in English.
I remember when I was knocked off my bike and my hand was smashed the surgeon said what a beautiful “fracture”. Apart from the fact it was not beautiful it was not a fracture.
The ability to have someone to support you and your spouse if you are diagnosed with Cancer in France is not to be under estimated and any donations from this ride are going towards helping  to support CSF training initiatives.This means that the person who will be talking to you or with you will have had professional training and will be able to help you and/or your spouse at what can be a fearful time for you both. 
I really think that Cancer Support France are doing a great job
