Hike for Children's Rights in Rwanda

by Humanium for Humanium

From 20 to 30 November, Arndt Soret, Humanium's vice president and co-founder, will be in the Byumba region of Rwanda to raise awareness of basic children's rights.

With help from our local partner AVSI, 7 workshops of 5 hours each will be organized within different communities throughout the region, in order to raise awareness of the village chiefs, teachers, and parents, thus giving the local populations the tools to build a better future for their children themselves!

20 November will be Humanium's 7th anniversary and will also celebrate the Universal Children's Day. In order for this project to be carried out and change the lives of thousands of children, we need your help!

Humanium

Humanium, for childrens`s rights, is run on a 100% by happy and fully energized volunteers. The association was founded in 2008 in Geneva, Switzerland and is entirely dedicated to the well-being of children. It works towards the real improvement of their living conditions and their fundamental rights in the poorest countries, such as educational and health programs in India, nutrition programs for 300 children in Madagascar or health and hygiene programs for the poorest children in Bangladesh.
