HI,
I'm doing the Cork half marathon on June 1st with my brother-in-law John to raise funds for Joey, his 8 year old nephew.
Joey has an extremely rare form of Leukodystrophy, and is tube fed via a hole in his tummy. He cannot sit up, stand up, walk or talk, but despite all his challenges, he is a charmer and has a wicked sense of humour.
Colette and Matt, Joey's parents, work tirelessly on his behalf, and you can find out more about them all at
www.tri4joe.com. (They live in France as the best care is available for Joe there, hence the French fundraising page!)
ELA do great work supporting children and adults with this illness, as well as supporting their families.
Please help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to ELA or bringing awareness around my fundraising efforts.
Donations are processed through Alvarum, which is very easy and 100% secure. Cash donations are also welcome if you don't want to go through the site.
Thank you for your help!
